Primary Election Voter Registration Deadline

TOPEKA – Secretary of State Scott Schwab is reminding Kansans that the deadline to register to vote in the August 6, 2024, primary election is today, July 16. Kansans who are not registered to vote but would like to participate in the primary election must complete a voter registration application. Those who have recently moved or changed their name must update their voter registration information to participate.
"Today is the last opportunity for Kansans to register or update their voter registration to participate in the upcoming primary election,” said Schwab. “Make sure you are eligible to participate by meeting today's deadline."
Kansans can check the status of their voter registration by visiting VoterView on VoteKansas.gov. Kansans may also register to vote at their county election office, the Secretary of State’s office, or at their local Department of Motor Vehicles.
