SCHWAB REMINDS KANSANS OF ELECTION NIGHT REPORTING WEBPAGE
Monday, August 1, 2022
TOPEKA – Secretary of State Scott Schwab reminds Kansans that the election night reporting webpage will go live on the Secretary of State’s website, sos.ks.gov, at 5:00 p.m. on Election Day to provide unofficial reporting results.
The website includes several features to allow for improved user accessibility. Users will be able to pick their top races, filter the results by political party, and find separate tabs for reporting on national, statewide, and legislative races, as well as the constitutional amendment. “I hope Kansans find the election reporting website a useful resource,” said Schwab.
As a reminder, polls across the state close at 7:00 p.m. local time, after which unofficial results will begin to be viewable on the page. “Although we are all eager for official results, please remember that election night results are unofficial,” said Schwab. “Official results are not provided until the County Board of Canvassers and State Board of Canvassers have certified the election and all ballots have been counted, including provisional ballots.”
