Article 7.—APPLICATIONS

66-7-1. Applications. (a) In addition to the appropriate, completed application form and fee, each applicant shall also have the following submitted to the board office:

(1) An official transcript to verify any educational credit; and

(2) verification of any practical experience for which credit is claimed on reference forms approved by the board, which shall be submitted directly to the board office by the individual providing the reference.

(b) Each applicant for a license by reciprocity shall also submit the following:

(1) Verification of any exams previously taken; and

(2) verification of a current active license.

(c) Each applicant for occupational licensing by reciprocity under K.S.A. 2020 Supp. 48-3406, as amended by L. 2021, ch. 70, sec. 1, and amendments thereto, shall also submit one of the following, in addition to meeting the requirements in subsections (a) and (b):

(1) If applying as a military servicemember, form DD214 or other proof of present or past military service;

(2) if applying as a military spouse, verification of the applicant’s status as a military spouse;

(3) if applying as an individual who resides in Kansas, proof of current Kansas residency; or

(4) if applying as an individual intending to reside in Kansas, proof of the individual’s intent to reside in Kansas.
