Notice to Contractors

Project

Rehabilitation of Detention Dam Site 3 in Greenwood County, Kansas, located approximately 5.5 miles west and 3.8 miles north of Gridley, Kansas for Big Creek Watershed Joint District No. 48.

General Scope of Work

Replacement of existing principal spillway pipe and appurtenances with 105 linear feet of new 14-inch PVC pipe, filter diaphragm, canopy inlet, and trash rack; repair of front-slope erosion with 1,827 tons of riprap; associated earthwork, fencing, seeding, and mulching.

Bid Opening

10:00 a.m. (Central Time) Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Birk Lake Cabin, 873 Dobbin Rd., Gridley, KS 66852. Sealed bids will be received by Curtis Janssen, Engineer/CO, 280 K-68 Hwy., Lyndon, KS 66451 until 8:00 a.m. the day of the opening, or may be delivered at time of opening. Any bid received after the specified times will not be considered.
