Notice of Hearing
The State of Kansas will conduct public hearings on housing and community development issues to allow citizens to provide input into the 2024-2028 Kansas Consolidated Plan. The Consolidated Plan is the state’s policy framework for federal community development and housing programs. The public hearings will focus on housing and community development needs throughout the state, and strategies to address needs. A presentation is available for download from the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) website at http://kshousingcorp.org.
Estimated resources available annually in the five-year plan include approximately $15,111,118 from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), $7,040,310 from the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), $3,000,000 from National Housing Trust Fund (HTF), $1,662,075 from the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and $691,970 from the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) programs.
