The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Division of Health Care Finance (KDHE-DHCF) is amending the Kansas Medicaid State Plan. Coverage of bath and toilet aids is being moved from in lieu of services (ILOS) to DME in the state plan. Select reimbursement rates are set at $75. Other reimbursement rates will be manually priced using the Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), minus 20%.
The proposed effective date for the State Plan Amendment (SPA) is January 1, 2024.
