Notice of Hearing

Pursuant to K.S.A. 75-37,143(d), the State Building Advisory Commission will conduct a public hearing at 9:00 a.m. January 10, 2024, in Suite 1200, 12th Floor, Eisenhower State Office Building, 700 SW Harrison St., Topeka, Kansas. Check in at the front desk with security is required.

The purpose of the hearing is for the public to have an opportunity to comment on a request from Kansas State University, Salina Campus to utilize Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR) alternate project delivery method for additional campus housing and dining options.

The new residential hall will allow for a total square footage of 54,240 GSF, providing between 123-243 beds depending on the configuration chosen. The new dining facility plans for a total of 12,500 GSF, seating approximately 360 patrons. This will provide the students with a variety of living and dining options, while being centrally located on the campus.

Construction costs are estimated at $26,314,101.
