Notice to Bidders
Notice is hereby given for the receipt of subcontractor bids for the Wichita State University and University of Kansas Medical Center Wichita Biomedical Campus-Bid Package #003 project. This project is being delivered using procedures established under the Kansas alternate project delivery building construction procurement act (K.S.A 75-37,141 et seq.) for J.E. Dunn-Hutton, a Joint Venture is the Construction Manager.
Subcontractor bids will be received for the following scopes of work:
- Millwork/finish carpentry (supply and install)
- Prefabricated backup panels
- Rainscreen system
- Membrane roofing
- Firestopping
- Doors/frames/hardware (supply and install)
- Coiling storm doors
- Coiling fire doors
- Exterior glazing
- Interior glazing
- Interior framing/drywall/ACT
- Painting/wall coverings
- Specialty ceilings
- Ceramic tile
- Carpet/resilient flooring
- Terrazzo
- Rubber flooring
- Toilet accessories/specialties (supply and install)
- Signage
- Lockers
- Wire mesh partitions
- Operable partitions
- Vertically folding partitions
- Demountable partitions
- Loading dock equipment
- Pedestrian control equipment
- Laboratory casework
- Medical equipment
- Sound booths
- Roller shades
- Fire suppression
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Electrical
- Landscaping and irrigation
Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m. October 17, 2024. Email bids to david.pipes@jedunn.com or deliver to 420 E. English, Suite A, Wichita Kansas, between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. October 17, 2024.
All bidders must prequalify. Create SMS profile by following the directions at https://sms.jedunn.com/.
All bidders should advise of their intent to bid. Please email david.pipes@jedunn.com the notice of intent to bid. A Prebid meeting will be held virtually at 2:00 p.m. October 1, 2024. If you wish to participate in the pre-bid meeting, please email david.pipes@jedunn.com and request a meeting invite.
A copy of the bid documents will be available for review through Building Connected upon request. Please email david.pipes@jedunn.com for bid invitation. Bidders will be required to complete the prequalification process and be pre-approved up to the value of the requested scope prior to receiving actual bid documents.
Vendor hereby acknowledges when submitting a bid that they have included all items associated with the request for proposal for their corresponding bid form.
