Notice to Bidders

Notice is hereby given for the commencement of the selection process for construction services by Sedgwick County, Kansas for the South Central Regional Psychiatric Hospital 104-bed project, being built in collaboration with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). Upon completion of the building construction, Sedgwick County will turn the hospital over to the state to operate.

KDADS encourages interested vendors to visit Sedgwick County’s website for the state mental health hospital at http://www.sedgwickcounty.org/finance/state-mental-health-hospital for information pertaining to the Request for Proposals set for release October 24, 2024. Pre-bid information is being made available October 10, 2024 at the same location.

Bidders should register with Sedgwick County at https://ssc.sedgwickcounty.org/Procurement/BidderRegistration.aspx Make sure to indicate in the box “Services/Commodities” their interest in the mental health hospital project.
