The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Division of Health Care Finance (KDHE-DHCF), is amending the Kansas Medicaid State Plan. Per the statutory requirements in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 (CAA,2024), the state amends the 1905(a)(29) Medication-Assisted Treatment benefit of the Kansas Medicaid State Plan to not sunset on September 30, 2025.

The proposed effective date for the State Plan Amendment (SPA) is October 1, 2025.
