Notice of NAIC Instructions and Calculations

Pursuant to K.S.A. 40-2,256, the following shall be in effect for calendar year 2026:

  • K.S.A. 40-2c01(j) – “RBC instructions” that are effective for risk-based capital reports as of December 31, 2025;
  • K.S.A. 40-2d01(h) – “RBC instructions” that are effective for risk-based capital reports as of December 31, 2025;
  • K.S.A. 40-3302(e) – “Financial analysis handbook” that is effective for 2025 Annual/2026 Quarterly filings;
  • K.S.A. 40-3302(f) – “Group capital calculation instructions” that are effective for group capital calculation filings as of December 31, 2025; and
  • K.S.A. 40-3302(l) – “NAIC liquidity stress test framework” that is effective for liquidity stress test filings as of December 31, 2025.
