Executive Directive No. 25-600
Authorizing Personnel Transactions

By virtue of the authority vested in the Governor as the head of the Executive Branch of the State of Kansas, the following transactions are hereby authorized:

The request of Kraig Knowlton, Director of Personnel Services, to provide a premium pay of one hour at 1.5 times the employee’s current rate of pay for each day worked as a Field Training Officer for employees of the Kansas Highway Patrol in the Communications Specialist I, Communications Specialist II, Communications Specialist Supervisor, Highway Patrol Trooper, Highway Patrol Master/Technical Trooper, and Highway Patrol Lieutenant job classifications is hereby approved, effective November 23, 2025.

I have conferred with the Secretary of Administration, the Director of the Budget, the Director of Personnel Services, and members of my staff, and I have determined that the requested action is appropriate.
