House Bill 2481, concerning tourism; relating to the FIFA 2026 world cup; prohibiting limitations by municipalities on the regulation of short-term rentals or vacation properties during the period of May 15, 2026, through July 25, 2026, and requiring municipalities to process applications for such permits within 15 calendar days; modifying the definition of transient guest for purposes of a transient guest tax for the period of May 15, 2026, through July 25, 2026; authorizing any city or county to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages 23 hours a day, seven days a week for the duration of the FIFA 2026 world cup

House Bill 2507, concerning wildlife and parks; authorizing the department of wildlife and parks to adopt certain rules and regulations related to fees, registrations and other charges; providing an exception from the disclosure requirements of the Kansas open records act for records of the department of wildlife and parks regarding the location of any species that is threatened, endangered or in need of conservation; removing the requirement for migratory waterfowl stamps to be validated by a signature across the face of each such stamp; increasing the fees for such stamps

House Bill 2573, concerning the Kansas board of accountancy; relating to licensure requirements for certified public accountants

House Bill 2596, concerning the secretary of corrections; relating to the prison-made goods act of Kansas; permitting certain contracts for the production of manufactured or modular homes for a pilot program at the Hutchinson correctional facility; requiring that the secretary charge average rates for rent and wages and require the private individual, corporation, partnership or association to pay all costs related to the project for such contracts; providing for a nationally recognized construction education certification program for participants of such pilot program; providing for an annual report by the secretary of corrections
