Request for Qualifications

The City of Overland Park, Kansas (sometimes referred to herein as “City”) is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide construction inspection services for the College and Metcalf Mobility Enhancement project (ST-2947, QuestCDN Project Number 10022409), in the category equivalent to the Kansas Department of Transportation’s (KDOT) Work Category: 241–Roadway and Bridge Construction Inspection. Please note that project ST-2947 is a KDOT funded project. Therefore, interested consulting firms must be prequalified by KDOT in the work categories noted above.

Proposals should include Project Understanding and Approach, Relevant Experience, Proposed Project Team (with staff resumes), Availability and Exceptions to the provided sample agreement, if any. Proposals should not exceed three (3) pages, excluding cover letter, resumes, The Certification by Prospective Participants (Attachment No. 5B), List of KDOT Certified Inspectors (Special Attachment No. 8), and Certificate of Tax Clearance (see Special Attachment No. 10). Proposals must be received by QuestCDN.com on or before 2:00 p.m. (Central Time) June 1, 2026. Any proposal received after the designated closing time will not be accepted.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive technical defects, and to select the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City.
