Notice to Contractors

Project

Rehabilitation of Detention Dam Site 204 in Lyon County, Kansas located just west of Road C, approximately 8.0 miles west and 1.5 miles north of the intersection of US-56 and Main Street in Allen, Kansas for Rock Creek Watershed Joint District #84.

General Scope of Work

Replace existing principal spillway pipe and appurtenances with 114 feet of 14-inch PVC pipe, filter diaphragm, canopy inlet, and trash rack; repair front-slope erosion and upstream slope of stilling basin with 1147 ton of riprap; associated earthwork, fencing, and seeding.

Bid Opening

11:00 a.m. (CST) Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at the Bowers Community Center, 325 W. Main St., Council Grove, KS 66846. Sealed bids will be received by Curtis Janssen, Engineer/CO, 280 K-68 Hwy., Lyndon, KS 66451 until 9:00 a.m. the day of the opening, or may be delivered at time of opening. Any bid received after the specified times will not be considered.
