CERTIFICATE

In accordance with K.S.A. 45-208, it is certified that Senate Bill 28 approved by the Governor on April 24, 2024 was returned by her with line item objections. The following sections were considered by the Senate and the House of Representatives on April 29, 2024.

Notwithstanding the Governor’s objection, the line item veto Sections 29(b), 120(a) and 121(a) was passed by two-thirds of the members elected to the Senate and two-thirds of the members elected to the House of Representatives, the line items did pass and shall become law.

Notwithstanding the Governor’s objection, the line item veto Section 35(a) was passed by two-thirds of the members elected to the Senate and two-thirds of the members elected to the House of Representatives, the line items did pass and shall become law.

Notwithstanding the Governor’s objection, the line item veto Sections 83(dd) and 83(ee) was passed by two-thirds of the members elected to the Senate and two-thirds of the members elected to the House of Representatives, the line items did pass and shall become law.

Notwithstanding the Governor’s objection, the line item veto Sections 112(a) and 116(a) was passed by two-thirds of the members elected to the Senate and two-thirds of the members elected to the House of Representatives, the line items did pass and shall become law.

This certificate is made this 29th day of April by the Chief Clerk and Speaker of the House of Representatives and the President and Secretary of the Senate.
