Notice of Bidders

Notice is hereby given for the receipt of subcontractor bids for the A-014813 University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) Cancer Center – Research Tower – Bid Package 01 Fire Lane project. This project is being delivered using procedures established under the Kansas alternate project delivery building construction procurement act (K.S.A 75-37,141 et seq.) for The University of Kansas Medical Center. JE Dunn Construction is the Construction Manager. Contact person is Daniel Rezin at daniel.rezin@jedunn.com, phone 816-426-8997.

Subcontractor bids will be received for the following scopes of work:

  • Demolition/earthwork
  • Site utilities
  • Site electrical/fiber
  • Helical pier/push piles
  • Site concrete/structural concrete/handrail
  • Landscaping
  • Chain fence

Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. (Central Time) September 13, 2024, and are to be received by email to daniel.rezin@jedunn.com and kip.young@jedunn.com. Note: Bids for concrete scope of work are to be submitted to professional.qualifications@ks.gov.

All bidders must be prequalified in JE Dunn’s Subcontractor Management System (SMS). Create or update company information by following directions at https://sms.jedunn.com.

Email daniel.rezin@jedunn.com with intent to bid. An in-person pre-bid conference and walk will be held at 10:00 a.m. September 4, 2024. All attendees are to meet at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson Atrium in the Lied Building on the KUMC Campus in Kansas City, Kansas. Please contact daniel.rezin@jedunn.com if you are interested in attending.

All bidders shall comply with the requirements within the contract documents and front end, including all items within the scope of work and required bid form filled out.
