Notice to Bidders
Notice is hereby given for the receipt of subcontractor bids for the A-014565 Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) District 1 Complex Relocation – Sanitary Sewer Bid Package #2 project. This project is being delivered using procedures established under the Kansas alternate project delivery building construction procurement act (K.S.A 75-37,141 et seq.). Crossland Construction Company, Inc. is the Construction Manager.
Subcontractor bids will be received for the following scopes of work:
- General requirements:
- Complete, single source, turnkey installation for the Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 401122.00 including but not limited to:
- Excavation
- Tree and vegetation removal as required
- Road crossings
- Traffic control
- Backfill and compaction
- Concrete and asphalt patching
- Surveying
- Piping
- Precast structures
- Erosion control
- Final seeding as required for a complete project
- Complete, single source, turnkey installation for the Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 401122.00 including but not limited to:
Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. December 12, 2024, via electronic bid submission at khartter@crossland.com. All bidders should advise their intent to bid on BuildingConnected. Invitations to bid will be sent through BuildingConnected and iSF by the CMaR. This online system allows bidders to indicate their intent for bidding i.e. Undecided, Bidding, Not Bidding.
Bid documents will be available through online bid solicitation software BuildingConnected at https://www.buildingconnected.com and iSquare Foot at https://projects.constructconnect.com. Any messages, addendum, notice of changes will be sent through this system. Please contact the project contact above to be added to the distribution list.
Construction manual including instructions to bidders, preliminary schedule, site logistics, scopes of work, bid form, insurance requirements, etc. will be issued via BuildingConnected. Notice of addendums and any bid date changes will be sent through BuildingConnected. All bidders will be required to furnish a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid and the successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds for this bid package.
