Notice of Hearing

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), Division of Environment, Bureau of Air, will conduct a public information session and public hearing Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce, 1125 Williams St., Spray-Holt Family Conference Room, Great Bend, KS 67530, to consider the proposed Phase II Acid Rain Permit for Sunflower Electric Power Corporation – Great Bend Station, 335 NW 50th Ave., Great Bend, KS 67530. The public information session will take place at 6:00 p.m. followed by the public hearing at 6:30 p.m.

All interested parties will be given a reasonable opportunity to present their views orally during the hearing. In order to give all parties an opportunity to speak, it may be necessary to limit any oral presentation to five minutes.
